❤️ CPR Safe4 Schools
Empowering high school seniors to train their peers in life-saving CPR skills—because every second counts!
Learn How It WorksWhy CPR Safe4 Schools?
Did you know that immediate CPR can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim's chance of survival? Yet, most students and staff in schools are unprepared to act in an emergency.
Our Peer Trainer Program turns high school seniors into CPR Certified School Leaders who then train their peers, creating a ripple effect of life-saving knowledge across your school community.
How It Works
Trainer Training
High school seniors complete an American Heart Association CPR Certification course, including hands-on skills testing.
Preparing to Lead
Seniors learn teaching techniques, communication skills, and classroom management to effectively train their peers.
Teach to Empower
Peer trainers facilitate CPR training sessions, earning community service hours while empowering others.
Program Benefits
For Peer Trainers:
- Gain leadership, public speaking, and teaching experience.
- Develop valuable skills in emergency response and first aid.
- Earn community service hours while making a significant contribution to the school.
For the School Community:
- Widespread CPR knowledge across the student body.
- Increased preparedness for emergency situations.
- A sense of empowerment among students to help save lives in critical situations.
The Peer Trainer program not only equips seniors with vital life-saving skills but also fosters a culture of leadership and service within the school community. By training the next generation of CPR responders, we ensure these skills are passed down, creating a safer environment for all.
"70% of Americans feel helpless to act during a cardiac emergency because they don't know CPR. Schools with CPR-trained students can change this statistic."
